After we introduced the Monster Indexer with Handle, we started getting requests to sell the handles individually, so here they are. The overall length is approximately 16 1/2" long, and they are made from cold drawn 1020 ASME steel tubing with custom machined ends and a soft comfortable grip. The handle is machined on both ends to allow for the use of different sized tools. The Monster Custom Handle comes in 3/8"-1/2", 1/2"-5/8" and 3/8"-5/8" sizes.
As with all Monster handles, you can optionally fill the handle with lead shot for additional mass and vibration dampening.
When ordering, be sure to specify the size you want.
Please note: Due to the variances of different sizes of tools manufactured by different companies around the world, please take the time to accurately measure the tool that you’re purchasing your handle for. This will save some problems down the road.
Our handles are precision machined to the following sizes:
The 3/8” handle has a .390 bore
The 1/2” handle has a .515 bore
The 5/8” handle has a .640 bore
These sizes are .015 over the nominal size, or approximately 1/64” oversize.
If you need a different size bore than noted, please contact us with the sizes needed.
Also Note: When included as a bonus with the "Buy Two MCHII Get One MCH Free" handle special, this handle is bored on one end only, to fit a 3/8" diameter tool. |
